A Jungle Getaway with Surprises
Waking up to singing birds and lush greenery was a daily delight. The outdoor shower was especially refreshing after a long day exploring! Don't miss their incredible horseback riding excursions.
However, the remote location meant we spent quite some time just getting to nearby attractions. Also, some trails had steep paths that could be challenging for less mobile guests.

The Lodge at Chaa Creek in San Ignacio provides a unique experience in the rainforest. The staff is genuinely welcoming. they make an effort to recognize names and preferences. The swimming pool is stunning, surrounded by lush scenery, creating a serene atmosphere. I appreciated the variety of activities available on-site. Horseback riding and canoeing added excitement to our stay. The butterfly garden is a special touch, making it a peaceful retreat after adventure. I enjoyed the delicious meals, although they were on the pricey side. Our room lacked AC, which wasn't an issue during our stay, but humidity levels were high. Managing moisture could improve comfort. the floors were slippery at times. We ended up with a dehumidifier, which significantly helped. The restaurant did offer local dishes, but I wish the food was a bit more diverse. Lastly, the distance to offsite attractions meant we spent a considerable time traveling. Despite these minor drawbacks, we enjoyed the overall experience.

Couples looking for relaxation and adventure
The villa was fine with a high-end coffee machine that made mornings much better! Plus, having a butler like Candi made the experience feel luxurious, and she was always there to help us with anything we needed.
It wasn't cheap, but for the quality and service, it felt acceptable.
